All prices on this page include installation, flag, and hardware within 45 Min of Sunbury Ohio, 43074. We work all over the state of Ohio. Prices are estimates, call and confirm pricing for your situation.

Prices are with the dirt from the foundation left onsite (varies by pole size, contact for details) and an unfinished pad at the base. (We can do a finished pad, contact for quote. (Customers normally cover with mulch, river rock, etc.

Please understand, these are not the cheap telescoping or sectional poles found in big box stores, if you have ordered a pole before and it showed up in a small box there’s a decent chance you are here scrolling our site because it’s crooked as our government.

Rest assured, that won’t happen here.

Residential

Although 80% of our work is residential we rarely install “residential” grade poles.

They are only used due to budget constraints or if the customer knows they are moving from their current location soon and doesn’t want to place a Heavy Residential flag pole and not be there for many years to enjoy it. These poles are the highest quality residential grade you will find but we still recommend our HEAVY Residential  grade poles for a residential application.

Heavy Residential (aka light commercial)

This is our bread and butter top of the line pole for your home.

The poles you see below are the most common we install all across the state of Ohio. When compared to the residential grade above it’s like comparing a Ram 3500 Pickup truck to a Honda Civic. It’s just not apples to apples.

*Important, all wind ratings above are unflagged wind rangings, meaning the wind rating for the pole without a flag, there are to many variables to factor into a “flagged” wind rating with the different flag sizes, flag matierial, and wet vs dry.

It is recommended if safe to do so to take your flag down if you know a significant weather event is coming. This will help the longevity of your flag, ropes, & pulley system.

What size pole will look best on my home?

This really comes down to personal preference, as stated above the most common residential heights are 20’-40’ with many of those in the 25’-30’ range. The only time we would recommend something shorter than 25’ is if it’s going very close to the road and there is a chance of loosing site of the flag while driving by in a vehicle.

Again, this is entirely personal preference. We want to install the largest pole possible for your home.

What most customers fail to see is the work that goes into the foundation. You can drive anywhere in Ohio and see a crooked flag pole. Normally not because the pole itself bent but because the foundation failed.

The last thing you want to do is spend money on a quality flag pole only to see it leaning due to a failed foundation.

You can buy a pole from anyone, you cannot get the quality of foundation that we install from anyone.

Flag poles are not deck posts and concrete must be mixed onsite or a concrete truck called in. It’s a giant red flag to see someone dumping bag after bag of dry concrete in a foundation with a garden hose running on the edge of the hole.
